Hotel Da Luz - Santa Maria

My family and I enjoyed a short stay primarily to visit nearby attractions like Kite Beach and the local markets. The room we had was spacious, providing a comfortable setup for our family time, and there were grocery stores just a short stroll away, which was super convenient. We appreciated how helpful the staff was in guiding us on places to explore. we noticed that the air conditioning wasn’t working very well and a little mold appeared in the shower, which could be improved.

Excellant and good location to Church of The Nazarene.

The room was brand-new and practical here with shower, comfortable bed plus very good value for money. The setting was quiet, just off the main areas and a beach of Santa Maria. I had some drinks at Angulo Cabo Verde, positioned 200 metres away.

Just a decent option for a city break in Santa Maria with good price-quality ratio. The air-conditioning worked well, keeping my room comfortable. Bring some snacks with you since the breakfast selection was lacking.

The Two-Bedroom Apartment was fantastic for my family, with a comfy layout. We loved the nice balcony view, perfect for a little sunshine and relaxation.

We faced a bothersome lack of hot water throughout our stay. The air conditioning didn't cool the room, which we noticed since we had to sleep with the door open. The shower cabin had some mold-definitely not the best in terms of cleanliness. It would have been easier to keep the apartment tidy if there was a broom, especially with sand from the nearby beach everywhere. Plus, the TV channels were out, and the Wi-Fi coverage was barely functional in the room.

We enjoyed a spacious apartment perfect for our family, and the helpfulness of the local staff. The location was nice, just a short stroll to the beach, great for our newborn as well.

For dads, it would be great if the kitchen was better equipped.

This hotel had the audacity to charge 10€ for a safe, when most places offer that complimentary. The air-conditioning didn't cool the room at all, and needed to sleep with an open door. I almost thought about giving them a good review, but they certainly didn't earn it. Just a dreadful experience all around.

Had a spacious room with a comfy sofa and a dining table. Enjoyed a nice balcony view. Great kitchen amenities like a microwave and refrigerator. The outdoor pool was relaxing, and I loved the couple's massage at the spa. It was a lovely stay with plenty of comfort and convenience.
